BookMark

Book Club

The Book Club will meet on the last  Saturday or Sunday of the month.

The specific time of each session will depend on the group of readers for that month. This is to ensure all members, no matter their time zone, are able to meet.

Currently, BookMark is a community catering to high school students (ages 14 - 18) only.

The meetings will be hosted using Zoom (video conference service), therefore, invitation links will be emailed to each member prior.

Every month, the novel being read changes, along with the genre. This means that we will have 4 weeks to complete the novel and discuss our thoughts.

When your Book Club application is accepted, you will be emailed the schedule for the meetings. This will include when the Zoom sessions will occur (time and date), and the exact chapters read each week.

If you have concerns regarding the schedule, contact project.bookmark2020@gmail.com.

There is no fee to be a member of the Book Club, however, we will not be purchasing the novel for you. You will have to independently purchase the novel. Kindle (which also comes in the form of an app) or online PDF files are recommended for this.

Blurb:

After more than a decade, when sisters Nikki, Sami, and Tori Knotek hear the word mom, it claws like an eagle’s talons, triggering memories that have been their secret since childhood. Until now.
For years, behind the closed doors of their farmhouse in Raymond, Washington, their sadistic mother, Shelly, subjected her girls to unimaginable abuse, degradation, torture, and psychic terrors. Through it all, Nikki, Sami, and Tori developed a defiant bond that made them far less vulnerable than Shelly imagined. Even as others were drawn into their mother’s dark and perverse web, the sisters found the strength and courage to escape an escalating nightmare that culminated in multiple murders.
